Growth Marketing Director

We are seeking a Growth Marketing Director to join our Marketing Department as we pursue our vision of creating a more transparent and accessible land marketplace. This role will help execute a variety of growth marketing projects and support our brand function efficiently in a rapidly growing business. This position is responsible for leading and scaling Acres marketing growth to achieve targeted sales objectives and demands a combination of strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing technology with proven experience in delivering metrics-driven results in a fast-paced environment. 

This is a leadership position ideal for someone looking to put their name behind some dynamic and impactful accomplishments on our rapidly expanding platform. The Marketing Director will play a pivotal role in supporting various marketing initiatives, including marketing automation and analysis, sales enablement, campaign coordination, reporting, and more. Our organization is fast-paced, so a good fit for this role would be someone looking to grow quickly and jump into a variety of marketing needs for the team. 

 

Our marketing department is a multi-platform business supported by central marketing efforts. 

The ideal Growth Director will juggle many balls and coordinate complex projects across multiple team members and departments. They will gather project requirements from stakeholders, communicate with project stakeholders on status, and ensure that our work is completed in a timely and organized manner. Ultimately, revenue growth and customer satisfaction of each business unit will define success in this role. Our marketing department is team-oriented, curious, and results-driven. Core Responsibilities:

 
  • Leading a high-performing growth team to create and implement strategic marketing initiatives across various marketing functions including performance, paid digital, SEO and website health, full user lifecycle management, conversion rate optimization, sales enablement and ABM, analytics, and reporting

  • Creating and implementing the marketing plan in line with overall business objectives while striking a balance between longer-term strategic brand-building activities, mid-term lead generation, and nurturing, as well as quick wins to achieve targets

  • Using data and analytics for decision-making and measuring marketing effectiveness as well as creating a culture of structured experimentation and iteration to drive growth

  • Ensuring consistent messaging with our Brand team that is aligned with the brand

  • Monitoring and reporting on growth metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Manage the Growth marketing budget to drive sustainable bottom-line growth

  • Deriving insights from market research and competitive analysis to inform growth strategies

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies

  • Providing strategic guidance and leadership to support overall business growth and success

  • Assist in the increased efficacy and management of our CRM system (HubSpot) to streamline marketing and sales processes. Support database management, including maintaining, updating, and hygiene, to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Coordinate marketing campaigns from inception to execution, ensuring all elements are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Execute various aspects of marketing plans, including email marketing, automation, digital advertising, etc. 

  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide sales enablement materials and support, including working with the Brand team to create collateral, presentations, and training materials.

  • Understand the company’s mission and core values

    • Maintain a high level of integrity

    • Clearly articulate the vision for Acres as well as the core beliefs of the company 

    • Be able to defend thoughts and ideas internally in a professional manner when challenged 

Key Competencies:

  • Experience in a similar role with a solid track record of metric-backed success 

  • Experience in Growth Hacking, Social Media/ Viral Marketing, managing demand generation & the customer acquisition funnel, and performance marketing

  • Knowledge of Campaign Management Tools and Web Analytics Tools

  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast-paced environments

  • Experienced manager of both people and projects

  • Experience working with fast pace sales teams 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.

  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Knowledge of Hubspot

  • Ability to prioritize a large workload and distill large amounts of information into concise, actionable tasks while using Asana

  • Mindset geared toward continuous improvement and efficiency

 
 

*Note: this is an onsite position in Fayetteville, AR. Candidates considering this position must be willing to relocate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. Or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience working in a Growth Marketing role for 5-8 years 

  • Experience working in B2B sales 

  • Background in agriculture, real estate, or land brokerage

  • Experience working in a technology startup
