Job Purpose

Leading the process of Crop Solutions total supply chain for Crop Protection products. This entails product and packaging material procurement, production planning, and order fulfillment while maintaining a high level of customer service.

 

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the S&OP process which develops and executes a procurement plan around active ingredients, inserts, and packaging materials.
  • Execute the agreed upon supply plan in the SnOP in order enable the sales and marketing teams to reach budget.
  • Negotiate with suppliers including warehousing, toll manufacturers, 3pl’s, trucking companies, raw material vendors, customs to ensure HAI has a competitive cost position while simultaneously meeting the service level of our strategic focus.
  • Communicate and act as the interface to the operations Asia team and activities.
  • Oversee Helms warehousing footprint to optimize product distribution and reduce cost in coordination with sales director (s).
  • Develop and manage physical inventory reconciliations between physical and book counts.
  • Monitor and manage inventory to optimize the timing of purchases. Accountable for all items pertaining to and related to procurement and reconciliation activities.
  • Create and run cogs to communicate current projections for marketing, EPA reporting and regulatory requirements, as well as any other reports needed for clarity in the business.
  • Create and operate internal ERP system to optimize the flow of information in order to create power bi dashboards for sales teams and increase efficiency and add reconciliation.
  • Run, update and ensure accuracy of weekly/monthly reports as needed.
  • All other projects as needed.

 

Required Background and Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 3 years in agrochemical working experience
  • Preferred experience in tolling/manufacturing/logistics
  • Crop protection background of herbicides/insecticides/pesticides
  • Familiarity of transportation of hazardous materials
  • Microsoft office tools (excel/outlook/sharepoint) must
  • SAP (nice to have)
